London
We flew out of Vancouver on Friday the 12th. Next day we arrived in London where we got picked up by Björn, an old friend and class mate from high school of Kerstin.
At Dirk's place, Johanna, Björn and Kerstin.
Sightseeing in London, Björn in front of the Tower Bridge.
Some German Sausage :-), that's how you would say it Ginman? Was good to have Rindswurst with mustard. A bit pricey so but hey, we are in London.
London Eye, one of the world largest ferris wheels.
Pretty nice steel work.
Big Ben and the parliament.
London downtown.
They do have nice bridges in London, pretty amazing stuff for an engineer.
The London Eye from far away.
The home of Dirk, quite a nice place.
We caught up with a bunch of old friends.
Hot guys.
Not such a hot guy but cute so.
Luftpump no. 1
Luftpump no. 2, quite tall that dude. You knew he won Wimbledon when he was only 17.
Caught also up with some close family.
Two smart germans.
And Luftpump no. 3
One of my heroes. I loved watching that stuff when I was young. I still like it.
The new Bond.
What a gongshow.
That's where they keep there horses.
They put quite a show on.
Our hotel, last minute deal.
Back at Dirk's place.
Having fun.
The next day we walked around different suburbs. Camden Twon.
Dr. Martens, had a pair of those ages ago.
Horse Tunnel Market
Quite nice.
You have to be careful that you don't fall out of the window.
Some of the cheaper houses in London.
There was even a Christmas market.
After a long day we had a hot drink in a cafe.
That's what you see if you go to the wash rooms . A comparison of the beer prices in the local pubs.
London was pretty nice. Thanks again Johanna and Dirk for everything and thanks Björn for picking us up from the airport. See you hopefully soon.
